Thank You for Using Bulk Texter Pro!​

This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, store, and protect your personal information when you use Bulk Texter Lite or Bulk Texter Pro (the "Software"). By accessing or using our Software, you agree to the terms of this Privacy Policy.

Information We Do Not Collect​

Text message content, attachments, recipient phone numbers / contact information, and uploaded CSVs and spreadsheets are processed only locally on your device and are stored only in your browser's local storage.

We do not have access to any of this information at any point.

Information We Collect​

  1. Personal Information: We may collect personal information that you provide when you register an account in our Software, such as your name, email address, contact information, and any other information you choose to provide.

  2. Billing Information: We use Stripe for payment, analytics, and other business services. Stripe collects identifying information about the devices that connect to its services. Stripe uses this information to operate and improve the services it provides to us, including for fraud detection. You can learn more about Stripe and read its privacy policy at https://stripe.com/privacy.
    For Bulk Texter Pro versions older than v2.0.1, email addresses were collected as part of registration via extensionpay.com.

  3. Usage Information: We may automatically collect certain information about how you use our Software, including your browser type and usage patterns. This may include metadata about the texts you send, such as timestamps, usage frequency, feature usage, status of the text message (i.e. pending/sent/error), or whether the message had a photo attached. This information does not include actual text message content, message bodies, recipient phone numbers, or contact information.
    This information allows us to assist users with troubleshooting and also helps us analyze and improve the performance and functionality of the Software.

  4. Cookies and Similar Technologies: We may use cookies and similar technologies to collect information about your interactions with the Software. Cookies are small files that are stored on your device and help us provide a better user experience.

Use of Information​

  1. We use the collected information to provide, maintain, and improve our Software's functionality and user experience.

  2. We may use your personal information to send you updates, notifications, and other communications related to the Software or your account.

  3. We may use aggregated and anonymized data for analytical purposes, to understand user trends, and to enhance the Software's features and performance.

Email Communications​

We may use the email address you provide during the registration process to send you communications related to new features, updates, promotions, and other information about the Software. By using our Software and providing your email address, you consent to receiving such communications. You can opt-out of these communications at any time by following the unsubscribe instructions provided in the emails or by contacting us at [email protected].

Organizational and Managed Accounts​

In some cases, Bulk Texter Lite or Bulk Texter Pro licenses are purchased and managed by an organization, such as a school, business, or other employer (“Organization”), for use by its staff or members.

When you use the Software under an Organization-managed license:

  1. Usage Visibility: We may share certain usage information and account-related metadata with the Organization that purchased or administers the license. This information may include whether an individual user has activated or used the Software, usage frequency, feature usage, and similar activity-level data.

  2. Identifiable Information: The usage information shared with the Organization may be associated with individual user accounts and is not anonymous. This allows the Organization to manage licenses, monitor adoption, and support its staff.

  3. No Message Content Shared: We do not share text message content, message bodies, recipient phone numbers, contact information, uploaded files, or CSV data with Organizations. All message content continues to be processed and stored only locally on the user’s device.

  4. Organization Policies Apply: If you use the Software through an Organization-managed account, your use of the Software may also be subject to that Organization’s internal policies. We encourage you to review any applicable workplace or institutional privacy policies.

Data Sharing and Disclosure​

  1. We may share your personal information and usage data with trusted third parties who assist us in operating our Software and providing services to you (such as payment processing and analytics). These third parties are contractually bound to handle your information securely and only for the purposes specified by us.

  2. If your license is provided or managed by an Organization (such as an employer or school), we may share identifiable usage and account metadata with that Organization as described in the Organizational and Managed Accounts section of this Privacy Policy.

  3. We may disclose your information if required by law, or in response to a valid legal request or government investigation.

Data Security​

We take reasonable measures to protect your personal information from unauthorized access, use, or disclosure. However, no method of transmission over the Internet or electronic storage is completely secure, so we cannot guarantee absolute security.

Our Software may contain links to third-party websites or services that are not controlled or operated by us. We are not responsible for the privacy practices or content of these third-party services. We encourage you to review the privacy policies of those services before providing any personal information.

Children's Privacy​

Our Software is not intended for use by children under the age of 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If we become aware that we have collected personal information from a child under 13 without parental consent, we will take steps to remove that information from our servers.

Updates to this Privacy Policy​

We reserve the right to update or modify this Privacy Policy at any time. We will notify you of any material changes by posting the revised Privacy Policy on our Software. Your continued use of the Software after any such changes will signify your acceptance of the updated Privacy Policy.
